People I admire… Anna Kövecses

I found the work of Anna Kövecses in a blog a while ago. She is a very talented graphic designer from Hungary but now living in Cyprus. Her work has an amazing style. Simple lines, primary colors and a very good taste are her signature. I really enjoy every single piece of her work, because even if she is doing a magazine or web ad, she can be so artistic that the ad will look just a piece of art (take a look to her American Airlines work).ANNAKOVECSES6

ANNAKOVECSES4ANNAKOVECSES2If you want to check her work, here is her tumblr and her website. Enjoy! :)

Remember to think different…

I love to find interesting messages and postive words in basically everything. Sometimes I find them in song´s lyrics, sometimes in movie lines, books, blogs, people chats, magazines and so on.. But today I want to share with you the message that Machintosh used in 1997 for their advertising campaign “Think Different”. Maybe you don´t like so much advertising and you are not request to be a fan of Steve Jobs, or even a Mac fan, the only request is to try everyday to think different..

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. – Apple Inc.

Hope you like it!

Love, Nina
